Red eggs

Red eggs

Maybe I don't post but it's the only thing I did for Easter. The tradition in my family is to have red eggs and tulips in the Easter house. I have both so it's Easter. I wish you all a Happy Easter!

  • eggs
  • Dr. Oetker's egg paint
  • salt
  • vinegar

Servings: -

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Red eggs:

Eggs are cleaned by writing on them with vinegar.

Wash and degrease.

Put them to boil in a pan with cold water and a teaspoon of salt so that they do not break.

When they started to boil, I held them for 90 seconds and took them out of the water.

I had two kinds of normal and pearlescent paint.

Put the eggs in the normal paint and leave for 5 minutes.

The pearlescent ones are rubbed between the palms with the paint with gloves.

Leave it to dry and grease the normal ones with a little oil to shine.

I was disappointed with the paints, but that's it.

When they are dry, put them in a bowl.

It is true that eggs are high in cholesterol. In fact, a single egg contains 212 mg, which is more than half of the recommended daily intake of 300 mg.

However, it is important to remember that a high-cholesterol diet does not necessarily raise blood cholesterol.

The liver actually produces large amounts of cholesterol every day. When you increase your cholesterol intake in your diet, the liver simply produces less cholesterol to balance it.

In 70% of people, eggs do not raise cholesterol at all, while in the other 30% (called hyperresponders), eggs can slightly increase total cholesterol and LDL.

However, people with genetic disorders such as familial hypercholesterolemia or a gene variant called ApoE4 may want to limit consumption or avoid eggs.

Recipes !!

Do you have a craving for Fried Eggs and you don't know how to prepare them? Below we present you the recipe you need for Eggs Cooked, an appreciated and delicious culinary recipe that we suggest you try.

boiled or emptied eggs
condei (chisita)
Bee wax
colors (yellow
Red
black) natural or synthetic
bacon for gloss.

Eggs, washed with a little detergent (for degreasing) and well clarified, boil over low heat for approx. 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat the beeswax in a metal bowl with not too high walls.

When it becomes liquid, we soak the pen in wax and start "writing" the egg. We divide it in two, then in four, depending on the model we want to use.

When we have finished the basic model, we dip the eggs in yellow (at room temperature, so that the wax does not melt and the model breaks). After the color has caught the egg (10-15 minutes), remove the eggs on absorbent paper and let them dry. We cover with wax all the portions that we want to remain yellow.

We dip the eggs in the red paint and after we have obtained the desired shade, we leave them and blow them away.

Finally, cover with wax all the portions that we want to remain red and dip the eggs in the black paint. All portions not covered with wax will be colored black.

We let the eggs blow again then each egg, we approach it with a strong enough flame (so that it can melt the wax) and with the help of a clean cloth, we wipe the wax.
We continue like this until the egg remains clean, without wax, and the design and colors come out.

OMELETTE WITH TOMATOES

An easy omelet to make like all omelets anyway)

One of the omelettes very often prepared in Iran, if we don't make soft or hard-boiled eggs or scrambled eggs, we make omelettes with tomatoes)

All boys should learn to make at least this omelet, because who knows when they can impress with it, right? ))

The omelette with tomatoes is an omelette recommended for children over 3-4 years old, with one condition: if we make it for children, we will NOT use turmeric and pepper!

QUINTESSENCE:

  • eggs - 3 pcs
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs (we can use softer tomatoes)
  • Grape seed or soybean oil - 1-2 tablespoons (I use one of these 2 types of oil for frying, more details about oil, find in the section "TIPS & IDEAS" !!)
  • turmeric (turmeric) - a teaspoonful
  • pepper - a teaspoon tip
  • salt

Wash the eggs well with warm water (65-75 ° C) and liquid soap or detergent (more details about how to wash the eggs can be found in the section "TIPS & IDEAS" !!), wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and give them on the large grater.

Put the pan on the fire, add the grated tomatoes, let it simmer and stir from time to time, until the tomatoes run out of juice, then add the oil, crush the eggs, sprinkle with turmeric, salt and pepper, stir until the omelette thickens.

Stevie with eggs

We take the stevia and scald it for a few seconds in boiling salted water, then we strain it.

We take the ham and cut it into thin strips and brown it in a little oil, then add the green onion, of course after we have washed and cleaned it. Temper them a little and after they have softened, add the tomato juice and a little of the water in which the stevia was scalded. Season to the boil and then add the squeezed and cut stevia, not very small. Leave on the fire for about 15 minutes.

When the stevia has penetrated, take a pan in which we put a little oil on the bottom, add a few good tablespoons of stevia and sauce to put eggs. We make 4 nests in which we break an egg. Put everything in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius and wait for the egg whites to coagulate. Put salt, pepper on top and when the eggs are done, take them out of the oven.

Boil the vinegar with sugar, salt, pieces of beets and spices.
We peel the eggs and put them in a sterilized jar.
Pour the hot vinegar over the eggs. Place a knife under the jar so that it does not break.
Let it cool overnight and then put it in the fridge.
After a few days you can feel the taste, but I consumed them after two weeks when they were well pickled.
I'm waiting for you with impressions.

From boiled eggs you can prepare a delicious salad. You will definitely love it.

4 stronger tomatoes and nuts, 100 gr smoked fillet muscles (or whatever you like), 100 gr cheese, 4 eggs, salt, oregano, greens.

I cut a lid on each tomato, dug the inside and salted them.

I let them drain for 5 minutes, then I filled them with finely chopped fillet muscles, an egg, oregano and cheese on the edge.

I put them in the oven for 25 minutes. Depending on the oven of each, leave them until the egg is cooked.

Decorate with greens to taste and accompany with meatballs and potatoes or zucchini or toast.

Washing eggs

  1. The eggs are removed from the refrigerator at least one hour before use. Bringing the eggs to room temperature minimizes the risk of cracking when boiling.
  2. Wash the eggs with a clean kitchen sponge and a little liquid detergent, then rinse well. Thus, we will degrease their peel, helping the colors to adhere better and more evenly.
  3. I used white eggs, they are recommended for a complete success, because the colors obtained will be unaltered by the color of the egg.

Naturally Painted Red Eggs

Naturally Painted Red Eggs
Ever since I hit the bar with painting the eggs, naturally, with beets and red cabbage, I left it softer for a while, after which I felt the urge to try the method seen on my grandmother and mother. Said and done! I started painting Eggs with onion peels of Catholic Easter on March 27.
Even if I don't make great preparations like for Orthodox Easter, I can't help but have a few painted eggs in the house, a steak, a cake.
The Hungarian in me can't be left without such a thing, and where else can you say that you can't be sure which Easter is the real one, so I keep both
Maybe you are interested in how you can whiten an egg with a brown shell? Here is my method: How do we whiten an egg with a brown shell?

Necessary for Naturally Painted Red Eggs

& # 8211 15-20 whiter eggs (we can lay even more eggs, 30 for example)
& # 8211 peel from about 15 pieces of onion (if we also have the peel from 1-2 pieces of red onion well, if you can't and without)
& # 8211 cold water
& # 8211 different leaves (clover, parsley leaves, carrot, smaller popcorn, & # 8230)
& # 8211 women's stocking silk stockings (not black)
& # 8211 bacon or oil (I prefer pork bacon to give shine to painted eggs)

The method of painting Natural Painted Red Eggs

We wash the eggs with a little detergent to degrease them and then wipe them with paper towels. We cut palm-sized pieces from the woman's sock. Moisten the egg with a little water (to stick the leaves) then apply small leaves or popcorn, put eggs in the piece of sock and tie the sock as tightly as possible at both ends.

Eggs prepared in this way, are placed in the pot in which we put the washed onion peels, and on top we pour cold water to cover them. Thus prepared, we boil them (see the images below) over low heat.

After the water boils, let it boil for 15 minutes on low heat. If you want the color of the eggs to be darker, leave them longer. Remove the eggs, remove the sock and the leaves and while they are still hot, grease them with a piece of bacon to make them shiny or grease them with oil,

I saw that some put vinegar in the water in which they paint eggs with onion peels. I do not recommend because using vinegar, by boiling the first layer of calcium is removed from the egg so they do not paint evenly leaving stains and peeling.
Do not use eggs taken directly from the refrigerator, they risk cracking when they are boiled.
